RGWF's humanitarian focus is on communities across Afghanistan.

The location and scale of individual activities can vary according to assessed needs, available resources, program priorities and operational access.

RGWF's stated purpose is humanitarian and non-political. Its work focuses on community welfare, humanitarian support and development initiatives.

Assistance should be based on relevant needs and program considerations rather than political affiliation.

RGWF's program structure includes Healthcare & Medical Relief, Education & Child Support, Social Services, Clean Water & WASH, Youth & Digital Empowerment, Disaster Management & Relief, Sports Development and Agriculture & Livelihoods.

Individual initiatives may focus on one program area or connect several areas when community needs overlap.

Program decisions can consider the urgency and nature of the need, the circumstances of the affected people, available resources, operational feasibility and the purpose of the relevant program fund.

Not every request can automatically be approved. Some cases may require review before assistance or resources can be committed.

Individuals or families may contact RGWF to explain their circumstances and ask whether relevant support is currently available.

Contacting the Foundation does not automatically guarantee assistance. Availability may depend on the relevant program, identified need, available funding, location and operational capacity.

Contact RGWF →

Communities, organisations and potential partners may contact RGWF with information about an identified humanitarian or development need.

A proposal would need to be considered against RGWF's program priorities, available resources, feasibility and internal review before any commitment is made.

RGWF's giving structure includes designated program funds such as healthcare, education, clean water, emergency relief, youth empowerment, agriculture, sports and other giving categories.

Where a contribution is designated to a particular fund, the donation should be recorded against that selected program or purpose.

RGWF's donation structure is designed to support one-time contributions and recurring monthly giving where the selected fund and payment option allow it.

One-time giving allows a single contribution, while recurring giving can provide ongoing support to continuing programs.

Donations completed through RGWF's official giving system should create a transaction or donation reference for record keeping and reconciliation.

The exact confirmation available to the donor may depend on the payment method used.

If you need help locating a donation record, contact RGWF with the relevant transaction information.

Tax treatment depends on the laws of the donor's country and the Foundation's applicable legal or charitable registration status in that jurisdiction.

Donors should not automatically assume that a contribution is tax-deductible. If tax treatment is important to you, seek appropriate local professional advice or contact RGWF before donating.

RGWF provides a designated Zakat giving option. Zakat contributions should be recorded separately and directed toward appropriate eligible beneficiaries or purposes.

Not every RGWF program or beneficiary should be assumed to be automatically eligible for Zakat.

Questions about your own Zakat obligation, Nisab, timing or personal religious circumstances should be discussed with a qualified Islamic scholar.

Learn About Zakat →

Zakat is a specific religious obligation with particular eligibility considerations, while Sadaqah is voluntary charitable giving and may support a broader range of humanitarian needs.

RGWF therefore maintains a designated Zakat giving option, while Sadaqah may be used for relevant humanitarian purposes such as food, healthcare, education, family support or emergency assistance.

Explore Sadaqah →

Sadaqah Jariyah commonly refers to voluntary charitable giving intended to create continuing benefit.

Depending on the project, examples may include clean water, education, useful community infrastructure, skills development or other initiatives designed to create longer-term benefit.

The suitability of a particular initiative depends on its purpose and implementation.

RGWF includes seasonal Islamic giving programs for Ramadan and Qurbani.

Ramadan activities may include food assistance, Iftar support and family relief depending on the active campaign.

Qurbani arrangements may include suitable livestock or shares in larger animals. Current availability, locations and campaign prices should be confirmed during the relevant Eid al-Adha campaign period.

People interested in volunteering can visit RGWF's Volunteer Program page or contact the Foundation directly.

Opportunities can vary according to active programs, location, required skills and operational needs.

Submitting an interest or application does not necessarily mean an immediate placement is available.
