Winter brings a beautiful change of scenery for some, but for displaced and low-income families living in poorly insulated shelters, it brings a desperate fight for survival. Dropping temperatures and harsh weather conditions pose severe, life-threatening risks to those without adequate protection.

The Harsh Reality of the Cold Season

Every year, the cold season disproportionately affects the most vulnerable among us—the elderly, young children, and those lacking permanent housing. Without proper heating, thick clothing, or enough nutritious food to maintain body heat, these families are highly susceptible to severe illnesses like pneumonia and hypothermia.

Delivering Warmth When It Matters Most

To combat this seasonal crisis, the Rahmanullah Gurbaz Welfare Foundation mobilizes its volunteer network for our annual Emergency Winter Relief Distribution. Our strategy is fast and targeted: reaching the hardest-hit areas before the extreme cold peaks.

Our survival relief packages are carefully curated to meet immediate needs and include:

  • Heavy-Duty Thermal Blankets: Designed to trap body heat in sub-zero environments.
  • Winter Apparel: Thick jackets, socks, gloves, and woolen caps to protect against the biting wind.
  • High-Calorie Food Parcels: Essential staples like flour, rice, and lentils to ensure families stay nourished when daily labor becomes impossible due to weather.

A Lifeline in the Freezing Months

The relief we provide is more than just physical warmth; it is a message of solidarity. It tells these families that they have not been forgotten. However, the winter season is long, and our resources are constantly stretched. We rely on the compassion of our donors to keep our relief trucks moving.

Help us ensure that no family has to endure the freezing cold alone.
